Matthew Wallace is CEO and President of VRSim Inc., an expanding technology company headquartered in East Hartford developing virtual and augmented reality training systems. Under Matthew’s leadership, VRSim has applied innovative technology, breaking the paradigms of traditional business functions in a cost effective manner. Prior to VRSim, Matthew had worked as legal counsel for numerous small businesses and startups and directed the corporate formation, joint venturing, IP strategy, development restructuring, design implementation and capital accumulation activities for several technology ventures. He speaks at numerous industry conferences including: SNAME (Ship Building), TTEC (Military Application), TechSouth (Oil and Gas), and IASCAP (Homeland Security). He received his Bachelors from the University of Texas, Master’s from Vanderbilt University, and JD from the Walter F. George School of Law.

Rich Mavrogeanes -

Rich has been in the communications industry for more than 35 years. Prior to founding VBrick in 1997, he was a founding executive at several other successful technology companies. His background includes the U.S. Air Force, Senior Technical, Marketing and Management positions at Avidia, Switched Network Technologies, Dataproducts Corporation Government division, and General DataCom. He previously served as VBrick CEO and Chairman.
He received the "Innovator Of The Year" award, was named one of 17 industry executives to Federal Computer Week's "Federal 100" list for making a difference in Federal Information Technology, was named a "A List" executive by Telecom Magazine, received the Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur Of The Year Finalist Award, and accepted ComputerWorld's Hero's Award. Rich also serves on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Technology Council, the Internet Streaming Media Alliance, and the MPEG Industry Forum and the Connecticut Commission for Education Technology. He was named one of the top most influential people in the streaming media industry by Streaming Media Magazine, and he has authored many articles on the subject of networking, video, and streaming media which have appeared in the top industry journals.

January 14, 2010 - Andy Greenawalt


Andy Greenawalt: As the founder of Perimeter eSecruity in 1997, Andy pioneered the security as a service industry. Milford based Perimeter eSecurity has been one of the fastest growing companies in the country with over a dozen awards to its credit. It services over 10,000 institutions including over 2,000 financial institutions. While at Perimeter, he served as the CTO and on the board of directors.  As a leader Andy has the "inspirational ability to chart a complex course in simple steps." He challenges "people to look beyond the obvious in their thinking" and, as an "innovative thinker" demands it of those around him. He is a "motivator, a great strategic thinker."

Andy is currently the President of Gnostic Ventures, a SaaS consulting and Investment Company, and the CEO of Continuity Engine, a SaaS company serving the community banking market. He is also on the Board of Directors at Connecticut Technology Council, Entrepreneur Partner at CTech and Board Member at Yale Entrepreneurial Institute. He studied philosophy and linguistics at UMass Amherst.
